Let's all go #OneStepGreener

Did you know that we throw away around a third of all food? And that an area the size of China is used to grow food that we put in the bin?

Whichever way you look at it, food waste is a huge issue, and one that we must tackle if we're to minimise the changes to our climate.

Which is why we are partnering with the #OneStepGreener campaign, to give you some tasty and practical recipes to minimise food waste at home, and decrease your carbon footprint at the same time.

Little things really can make a difference, and what's even better is that they can taste amazing too. So if you've enjoyed a roast chicken on a Sunday, don't bin the leftovers, use them to make a super versatile stock that becomes the base in our zingy chicken noodle soup. Or make sure you buy seasonal ingredients, not only will they taste better, be bigger, they'll also be cheaper too. We have not one but two recipes that will easily feed four people from just one humble butternut squash. How about that!?

We'll also be asking you to share your tips and tricks to minimise food waste at home, as well as bringing back our ever so popular "what's in your fridge" Q&A on Instagram, where we'll try and give you recipe ideas based on what needs to be used up in the fridge.
